Meet John Mark Lucas, Transportation Programs Manager at the University of Minnesota who was recently featured in the Association for Commuter Transportation Newsletter.

Hennepin County will improve University Avenue and Fourth Street SE between Oak Street and I-35W.

The City plans to improve the intersection of 15th Ave. and 5th St. SE. in southeast Minneapolis to make it safer for pedestrians and bicyclists.

Gopher Bikes is a convenient full-service program to help you get around campus. Bicycles are available on a first-come, first-served basis as available.

On March 16, Metro Transit will make changes to transit service throughout the metro. These quarterly service changes adapt and adjust service based on current and projected ridership, available resources, and driver workforce.

During construction, pedestrians and bicyclists will not be able to cross the full length of the bridge through fall 2025.

On February 5, the Gopher Way connections between the three buildings have reopened after construction.

Beginning on Tuesday, January 16, our in-person customer service hours will be available from 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. on weekdays, to align with team capacity.

Transit service will be impacted over winter break - view post for full details.

Paratransit service will not operate after 6:00 p.m. during Winter Break, and will not operate on January 15. Lyft rides are available after hours and must be requested in advance. Full details here.
